Mike Abel, Attorney at Law
Attorney Mike A. Abel is CEO, owner and legal counsel for America's Choice Title Agency, Inc.
Mike has more than 12 years of experience in the title and mortgage industry, acting as a legal advisory committee chairman to the Ohio Association of Mortgage Brokers. He has also served as legal counsel and advisor to many mortgage brokers, lenders, associations and individual mortgage professionals.
A graduate of the University of Akron School of Law specializing in real estate law, Mike completed his undergraduate work at Malone College, where he earned a degree in business management. Mike has been a guest lecturer at the University of Akron School of Law as well as a guest speaker and trainer for numerous mortgage lenders, brokers and financial institutions.
Mike has directed, underwritten and issued over one billion dollars of title insurance coverage in the past several years. He has participated in more than 25,000 real estate transactions.
Brett Swinehart
President and part-owner of America's Choice Title Agency, Brett Swinehart oversees day-to-day operations of all America's Choice offices. A licensed title agent in the state of Ohio, Brett has overseen more than 20,000 real estate transactions and has 10 years' experience in the title industry. Before helping to found America's Choice Title Agency, Brett served as vice president of Sunset Title Agency. Prior to that, he had worked through every position in the title company, from abstractor to escrow officer.
Bobbie Roth
As vice president of operations for America's Choice Title Agency, Bobbie Roth ensures all customers of timeliness, industry compliance, teamwork and outstanding customer service. With 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, she has held positions as a processing manager of a large federal savings bank and as an assistant vice president of processing and underwriting for one of the largest banks in northeastern Ohio. She has also spent nearly a decade in the title industry as an escrow agent, ensuring the accuracy of all aspects of closings.
